Welcome to Malejole.net. Our mission is to build a vibrant interactive online community of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans-gendered (LGBT) people of South Asian (people from India, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Maldives) heritage, and people who support them. Being LGBT and South Asian puts us in a unique situation. We hope the website fosters an environment that will encourage free and open discussion of the many issues we deal with.

Malejole is an Indian word meaning "to mingle", and that’s what we’d like to accomplish with this site. Here we can discuss various issues, related to being gay and South Asian. Hopefully you can have a stimulating discussion, make new friends, find a lover, a mate, or realize that there are other people who share your views and face similar issues as you do.

In an effort to provide a safe space, we encourage you to register. Registration is FREE and takes only a few minutes. Non-members can still explore the site but in order to participate in this online community, we need you to register. We realize how important it is for some of us to stay anonymous, and that’s why we have made provisions for you to communicate with other people anonymously.
